About me!

Hiya! I'm Nathan Russell, a 14 year old upcoming gig reviewer and photographer. Growing up with parents who raised me with music from the same period, I am fully obsessed with music mainly from the 80s and 90s and find playing and listening to music what keeps me going. On this site you’ll see reviews and photos from a range of gigs in the music scene, from large scale concerts like Liam Gallagher selling out Co-op live, to more local shows around Liverpool and the North West. I love a lot of alternative “grunge” music from Seattle in the early 90s and play bass in a grungey-shoegazey kind of post-punk band myself called “Yakooza” with some friends from school, but as well as the heavier side of my music taste, I find that you can’t beat britpop, or anything similar, especially the likes of local bands of that time e.g: The la’s, The pies, The real people, Space and my personal favourites CAST, and SMaLLER (or The sums as they are now). Hopefully this page can give a decent insight to whoever is reading about different artists and shows from a genuine, music obsessed teenager.
